The Website Project• The aim of the project was to make historical information collected over more than 30 years more accessible to members and to the public at large via the internet. • A sub-committee - the Website Committee - was formed to decide the scope and general requirements for the website and then to design and implement an initial version. • The site was launched in November 2007 with key material such as downloadable census records and local directories, maps and photographs and provides the foundation for hosting a much wider range of material in future years. |
